Domicile

Domicile is a concept distinct from nationality, residence or ordinary residence. It means, broadly, the place an individual regards as his/her permanent homeland, i.e. the place to which, regardless where he/she may currently reside, he/she intends to eventually return. The meaning for inheritance tax purposes is extended.
